Blondie’s Cookies misses Shark Tank Deal, but focuses on Indiana

Blondie's Cookies - Shark Tank

Brenda Kaufmann of Blondie’s Cookies handcrafts over twenty-five different varieties. She pitches Shark Tank in Season 3. She wants to be the next Mrs. Fields.

Blondie’s Cookies owns 12 locations

Blondie’s Cookies owns 12 locations in Indiana and Florida. Her sales were $2.3 million but had a flat year because she opened four stores in Florida. Two of the stores are not more than a year old. The new stores are losing about $170,000.

Brenda informs the Sharks that bank debt for $800,000 is also part of the deal. Blondie’s Cookies is getting beat up by the Sharks.

Brenda tells them that the Sharks are investing in four things. 1) The brand name to a beautiful product, 2) There is nothing like Blondie’s Cookies, 3) They have systems of twenty-six years, and 4) They get Brenda, one of the hardest working CEO’s.

What do the Shark Tank Investors say about Blondie’s Cookies

Mark Cuban doesn’t like her because he is going to be in the gym for three hours that night. Mark’s only hope of getting his money back. He is out.

Daymond John is blown away by the cookies, and he is mesmerized by her, but then he went back to the valuation, he is out.

Kevin O’Leary loves her smile, but the valuation is crazy because he can hire a grandma and have her bake the cookies. He is out.

Barbara Corcoran is out because she will stick with the Florida stores until she dies on her sword.

Robert Herjavec thinks she has done a phenomenal job of creating a brand. He believes she needs to focus on the core, not the remote locations. He is out.
