Time To Relax

I'm not very good about finding time to relax. That's not a good thing, I would probably do better if I took downtime.  My mind races all day long, thinking about what's next, but then you see people who have problems from working non-stop and even passing away like Andrew Breitbart did last night. I realize that he made more tracts than I could dream about, but I can guarantee you my mind is working just as hard as his was. That sends a message that it's time to relax just a little.

I don't know how to take time to relax, so I'm going to have to come up with some strategies. A beach would be really nice, maybe only for a few days, I wouldn't stay away too long. I love warm weather too, something with Palm tree and blue water would be perfect. Finding blue water means a vacation as there is no blue water around here.

Time to relax doesn't have to happen on a beach, it could be someplace like Central Park in New York City. I went there last summer and set on a huge rock. The wind was just a breeze and the temperature perfect. I can close my eyes and feel it now.

Maybe I should take time to relax in the middle of the day. I could get the temperature just right, lay down in a recliner or on a soft couch, close my eyes and imagine where I am for fifteen minutes or so. That would give me plenty of time to let go of stress and get refreshed. That's a great idea.

How do you take time to relax? Do you sit back, close your eyes and dream a little dream? Maybe you need to take a vacation to some exotic location. Whatever it is, let me know…
