About SweepEasy
Shane Pannell is from Maricopa, Arizona and is the developer of SweepEasy, something he created as a stay-at-home dad. He tried to get gunk off the floor and put a scraper on his broom. His product invention is patent pending as of the show, and he comes in with working prototypes, but no sales. He believes that the right price for his product is $19.95.
Robert asks to come down, and Shane tells Robert his wife is her favorite Shark. He shares he is probably the only guy that sweeps floors.
Robert is trying to find out if they are going to manufacture and sell the broom, or are you going to license the design. Shane wants to do both.

What do the Shark Tank Investors say about SweepEasy?
- Kevin Harrington – Buts in to Kevin O'Leary's offer and tells him that he is interested, when Kevin O'Leary buts back in and offers $50,0000 for 20% equity. Kevin Harrington offers $50,000 for 25% equity and he is going to put it on television.
- Daymond John – says, Shane wants to run his own company, grow SweepEasy, and create other products. Daymond offers $75,000 for 33% equity. He offers to join Kevin Harrington make the deal at $80,000 for 25% equity. Daymond is starting to reconsider the offer and says if Shane walks out he will pull the offer.
- Kevin O'Leary – doesn't want to be in business of manufacturing brooms, he wants to license the SweepEasy. He makes an offer of $40,000 for 20%. Kevin ups his offer to $50,000 for 20% equity after Kevin Harrington comes in. He asks Kevin Harrington to go 50/50 with him, but Kevin Harrington rejects Kevin O'Leary's offer. Kevin jumps in asking to talk to Shane's wife.
- Barbara Corcoran – doesn't believe that Shane will get this product to market because he is not the kind of guy to do this. She tells him she doesn't see him as the kind of guy that gets to the finish line. She is out.
- Robert Herjavec – jumps in and joins Kevin O'Leary's deal offering $80,000 for 25% equity.
SweepEasy after Shark Tank
Shane Pannell did not complete the SweepEasy deal with Daymond John and Kevin Harrington. He did work with other investors to get the broom to market, but pulled it off after the quality wasn't good enough. He created a new design and came out with Version 2.
