Skinny Shirt Shark Tank Pitch Misses Deal Still going strong

Skinny Shirt - Shark Tank

Skinny Shirt solves the problem of wearing a favorite button down shirt with a sweater making it look bulky. The Shark Tank learns how Julie Kalimian's shirt keeps women looking slim without the added sweater bulk.

Skinny Shirt eliminates the bulk

She has combined the Skinny Shirt with the sweater to eliminate the bulk. Nobody likes it when the layers make you look bigger than you are.

The Skinny Shirt may be worn with anything in your wardrobe including sweaters, shift dresses, blazer and even as a stand-alone.

Julie did $500,000 in the last three years. She did $50,000 last year, and she is on track to do $200,000. She had a trusted friend who introduced her to a manufacturer who is not reliable, and now she has a new manufacturer sourced in Asia.

Her cost is $12.75, but her new manufacturer that can do it at $9.50. She sells the shirt at $68-78. Two-thirds is through the website, and one third is through boutiques.

She spent fifteen years in publishing before becoming a stay-at-home mom.

What the Shark Tank Investors say about Skinny Shirt

Mark Cuban asks why did her business fall in half in the second year. She did more in the first year that she will do this year. Mark Cuban doesn't think she has a definitive plan because the numbers don't add up, so he is out.

Barbara Corcoran says she held her ground against the bullies. She is bothered about the time you spent talking about the mishap with the manufacturer. She thinks that she spends too much time on the negative which is the difference between her winners and losers, so she is out.

Kevin O'Leary calls her a cockroach that will be crushed. Kevin said seventy-five percent of your presentation is telling how you screwed up. He is out.

Lori Greiner doesn't like the look of a collared shirt under a sweater, and she is out because she doesn't get the fashion statement.

Robert Herjavec thinks it is a good product but doesn't see it as a stand-alone product. He doesn't understand their direction on a journey, so he is out.
