Unguru.me has been put up for sale by founders Shawn Collins and Jim Kukral. The site is being offered on Flippa and is a great opportunity for a startup entrepreneur to jump in and take it to the next level.
The site is built using Amember membership software on top of WordPress and includes vBulletin message board. The target member includes small business owners, entrepreneurs and marketers of all levels of experience.
Included In the auction are the site, content, logo, domain name, twitter account and Facebook fan page. According to the auction listing, the memberships have not switched to paid memberships as of yet, so there is no current revenue to the site.
Normally, I would pass on a deal like this, but this one is unique. You have two very prominent industry figures that are the founders of the site. Opportunity exists to connect with both Shawn and Jim.
You might see if they would take an interest in the new ownership in exchange for promoting the site. Just a suggestion and I have not discussed this possibility with them.
While the site is new, you have a great foundation to work from. You even have a list started; I believe that there are 500 plus names. Give them value and turn them into paying customers.
Shawn is the co-founder of Affiliate Summit, a trade conference that happens in January in Las Vegas and August in New York City. Additionally, Affiliate Summit has launched the Affiliate Summit Meetups with Jim Kukral playing a key role in the organization of those events.
Jim Kukral is one of the most visible online marketing experts and is a serial entrepreneur. He speaks at many events and has worked with numerous Fortune 500 Companies. He is also a motivational speaker who has been compared to Anthony Robins.
The Unguru.me site is available at auction with the current price at $750. The auction ends in less than 24 hours. Check out the auction on Flippa.
