One Sole Shark Tank deal on interchangeable shoe with Daymond John

OneSole -Shark Tank

OneSole is the creation of Dominique McClain Barteet, who designed a shoe that features an interchangeable look. She is pitching in Shark Tank Season 2.

Dominique’s idea is seeded when she bought the same three pairs of shoes in different colors at the mall. She felt that there had to be a better way to get three different looks, without buying three pairs of the same shoe.

Dominique is an avid traveler and wanted the ability to take multiple shoe designs in a single pair of shoes. She changes the look quickly to match any outfit she has.

Comfort and convenience in OneSole Shoes

OneSole is best known for comfort, and they retail for $70-80, with the tops ranging from $12-30.

OneSole shoes have over twenty-million dollars worth of sales in four years in 2,000 stores around the world. Dominique also sells her footwear on QVC.

Production of the shoe molds is in Italy, with the uppers in Palm Beach, Florida. She is not good at sourcing, which is what she is after in an investor.

On top of that, Dominique McClain Barteet is a pharmacist by trade! She did this business in the back of her pharmacy and ended up moving her pharmacy into the back end of her Shoe manufacturing facility.

Dominique’s shoes hold two utility patents with more pending. She has purchase orders internationally.
