McClary Brothers created Vinegar mixers similar to what they used in the 1700’s called Shrubs. Jess brings the drink into Shark Tank. Their ingredients come from local farmers. They offer their Vinegar in over 1,000 retail locations in the United States and are growing.
McClary Bros launches after previous business failure before Shark Tank
Jess had a small publishing company with her husband in 2008. Their business went under when the economy collapsed forcing them to move in with their parents and start over. The McClary’s started their new company and are manufacturing products in Detroit, which is their hometown. She wants to make her sons proud of them and the community.
Jess received encouragement from Goldman Sachs 10,000 small businesses program to audition for Shark Tank. The McClary team creates a new recipe and releases that recipe every month. The mixers are great for food items as well as drinks. The companies website features regularly updated drink and food recipes.

Mark Cuban thinks that they don’t have enough Gin in their drink! LOL, The sharks are all commenting that they think they are good, but they get to one of the mixers, smell it and show that the smell is too strong.
They have been in business since 2012. Mark Cuban’s wife drinks vinegar every day. Drinking Vinegar has health benefits and use it as a natural alternative to soda’s They are getting into higher-end restaurants that offer craft cocktails.
Mark Cuban points out they are trying to create a category.
Lori doesn’t drink that much and suggests that they should do some laboratory testing to see if it calms the effect of Alcohol. She says good luck, but she is out.
Robert Herjavec sees that they are at a risk area depending on what direction they go. He thinks that an investment may hurt them. So he’s out.
Mark Cuban thinks that they have a great opportunity, but he is not a vinegar drinker, so he’s out.
Kevin O’Leary thinks that she is pioneering and asks, Why is she doing this to herself. Kevin is out.
Ashton Kutcher thinks she has excellent packaging and gains a broader vision for the company, and he believes they don’t have a plan that is broad enough to get behind as an investor, so he’s out.
