Being the right person is critical to having success in your business and personal life. You just can't rely on other people to carry you through. Success comes when you make yourself successful. It's hard work, and only you can make it happen!
When you're the right person other people look to you to help solve their problems. When that happens, you gain power and control over your environment and you can get the results that you want.
The really good news is that no matter whom you are, no matter what your situation, you have the power to take control and change your life. You can stop other people from manipulating you by choosing to ignore them and change your direction.
Surprisingly, they will quite often come your way and gain respect for you, when you do.
By becoming the right person, you take control of what others think and say about you, especially if you have been timid in the past. It's OK, even if you have a bad reputation, you can change what others think of you simply by changing the way you go about your life.
When I don't accomplish what I set out to do, it's not because I can't do it, it's because I didn't do it. I chose to let outside influences hold me back, and it's my choice to ignore those influences so that I can accomplish the things I want to accomplish in my life.
Bottom line is you don't want to let other people talk you into doing things that you know are not right, no matter what. Your responsibility is to take care of yourself and when you take care of yourself, you become capable of taking care of those that are important to you.
