A New Years Resolution Worth Having

Here we are about to change over to yet another new year. I'm sure we've all been thinking about our new year's resolutions. My question to you is, “Have you made a resolution that's realistic and you'll make happen? What if you actually focused on a resolution that you're serious about keeping? That could be your first resolution and then go from there.

For me, I'm thinking that my resolution is to get back to being more entrepreneurial and be well down the path to building another established company. That means that I'm going to put together the right team once again to support the operations of my company including a great organization person to help keep me going where I need to get.

Whatever you decide to do for your resolution, do something new and fresh, making resolutions to overcome problems only adds to the stress in your life. Sometimes we need to make drastic changes by going on a totally different course then where we have been and then we naturally overcome the other burdens that weight us down.

If you're not sure about a perfect resolution, give yourself an extra week to make that commitment. That way, you can't blow it on the very first night like so many people do when they're out celebrating the New Year.

I know that for many of us, 2011 will be a year to remember for good things to happen, but were the ones that are most responsible for making that possibility a reality and we need to start as soon as possible.

So go out and have a great time this evening, enjoying the New Year and then get down to business starting the first of the week. You'll be relaxed, refreshed and ready to take your resolutions seriously.

Happy New Year!
