You Say You Want to Make Money but….

Do you remember when your dad asked what you liked about your new girlfriend, and you said, “We like the same things” and then he said, “What are the same things?” I don't know about you, but I felt pretty stupid when he would ask me that!

Now think about the statement, “I want to make money!” It's pretty much like what you said to your dad about your relationship with your new girlfriend. There is nothing really concrete in that statement.

What you really need to be focused on is doing what you love to do. It's time to become an expert and learn how to Monetize what you love to do, so you can do more of it.

For several years, I have wanted to cut my weight. I want to lose weight as bad as I want to make money, but losing weight is not a fun process.

I haven't had the time to watch the shows that I keep on the DVR, so I decided to move my elliptical machine into my theater room. I started watching my shows while I work out. I actually spend more time working out than I had originally scheduled, because I don't want to cut my show short.

Instead of focusing on working out, I'm focusing on watching show s that I enjoy while working out. I already feel better, I'm losing weight and I'm enjoying my shows and I'm being productive while doing it.

I have focused on what I love to do and am getting incredible results. That's what you have to do, focus on what you love to do and conquer the stuff that you don't like to do.

When you put your focus on building something of value, you'll get paid. When you focus on making money, you never quite figure out how to get paid.
