Vote Miss USA for Miss Iowa Rebecca Goldsmith

For the first time ever, the Miss USA pageant will let you vote for the finalist on the show. Miss Iowa, Rebecca Goldsmith is one of those contestants and she wants your vote to be a finalist in the pageant.

I met Rebecca when she attended a Blog World Opening Night Party, at 404 NYC Restaurant, hosted by Network Solutions and New York Entrepreneurs Business Network.

I found her to be a friendly outgoing young lady that represents the state well. She’s a smart, attractive and stylish blonde beauty standing at 5’8” tall. Her high heels make her much taller than me!  She is tenacious and goes after what she wants, having worked very hard to win the Miss Iowa Crown. You have to respect the type of dedication she has.

At 26, she now resides in Des Moines, IA when she has time to be home, but she originally came from Chariton. She’s got a great education from Cornell College in Mount Vernon, IA studying Physiology and Psychology.  After Cornell, she moved on to get her Masters of Public Health from Des Moines University.  She was a volunteer representative for her sorority, Phi Omega and is a lifetime member of Mortar Board, an academic and leadership society for college students.

She competed in track and cross country as a running captain at Cornell and has run 5 marathons which help her during her current high paced schedule of appearances like the ones in New York City where the contestants are working to capture votes for the pageant.

She’s totally focused on the pageant at the present time but in the future she plans on working with not for profit organizations in order to drive and enhance better health care all over the world.

You can vote for Rebecca here and help her fulfill her dream of becoming Miss USA.
