SoundBender Shark Tank Pitch
Rabbi Moshe Weiss invented the SoundBender, a simple piece of plastic that attaches to the iPad that makes them sound fantastic. He is always looking to help people and find solutions for them. He is solving a very real dilemma that could be impacting 70 million people worldwide.
The problem SoundBender solves is getting the speakers to point towards the user, instead of away on the back side of the iPad. it seriously improves the sound with both volume and quality.
SoundBender offers huge margins as well. The cost to make is $1 and it retails for $12.99. He has already sold seven thousand units in the first six months. It comes in multiple colors.
Rabbi Moshe Weiss cupped his hands around the iPod and noticed an improvement of the sound quality, so he went to work and designed the SoundBender.

- Mark Cuban – thinks Rabbi has a nice little business, but he doesn't see it getting to twenty million in sales. He is out.
- Daymond John – says he cannot negotiate money, so what can they negotiate. Rabbi says we can negotiate the equity. Daymond asks for 40% at $56,000. Daymond says if Robert steps out his offer is going to change. He needs to answer.
- Kevin O'Leary – wants to know if Rabbi will license the product. Rabbi said he will not license it out to China for $.04 each. Kevin is out.
- Barbara Corcoran – asks how would she get her money back? Rabbi tells her he will write her a check. He says he does not want to do a royalty agreement. Barbara is out.

He responds he knows what has to be done. He responds he needs his connections. Robert wants to hear Daymond's answer. He offers $50,000 for 40% equity which is the same deal Daymond offers.
