Myself Belts – Shark Tank

Myself Belts - Shark Tank

Do your kids need a belt that they can put on themselves? Myself Belts is the solution for kids and even adults. Talia Bahr pitched Myself Belts on Shark Tank in season six. The Sharks beat her up, but she still landed a deal with Daymond John!

Myself Belts fastens to one of the loops and then is strung through the remaining loops using velcro to snug up the belt. Kids are now able to put their belts on. Adults who have difficulty with their hands will love these belts.

 Easy to use Myself Belts

You only need one hand free to fasten Myself Belts, available for both kids and adults. The belts provide independence for children as well as adults. Available options include leather and fabric belts in different colors and designs along with customizing services as an option. Adults with physical issues will also benefit from the ease of putting on Myself Belts, and best of all, they look like regular belts!

Talia and her sister Danielle launched their company in 2004. Sales for Myself Belts averages in the $200,000 range leading up to the company appearing on Shark Tank in Season six. The Shark Tank investors have tough questions for Talia as to the reason for sales not growing and do not accept her reasons for the stagnant sales. But, Daymond John is willing to step in and make a deal offering $75,000 in exchange for twenty-five percent of the company. They have a deal.

The company switched from focusing on boutique clothing stores to online sales about a year before appearing on Shark Tank. They feel that the online sales offer more significant opportunity to expand their business.

Myself Belts cost $2.20 for canvas, and $3.50 for leather to manufacturer their product. They wholesale their belts for $8.45 and $9.45. Talia suggests that they are interested in doing licensing deals besides selling wholesale and through their website.
