Developing Your Web Pressence

Having a web presence is more than just a necessity in today's economy, it's a critical part of any businesses infrastructure. Still many businesses do not realize how to get a proper return on their investment, often not spending nearly enough effort in their marketing strategy.

If you already have a business, you should be spending the same more effort in marketing online as you do in your offline strategy and each campaign should complement the other. Don't make them compete against each other, as you will lose a significant amount of opportunity doing so.

While in the future you will hand off the online responsibilities to others, it's critical that you learn how the online marketing strategy works, making it easier to clearly understand what's possible.

We all know our congressperson gets a sweet benefits package and we've got something totally different. Don't worry; I'm going to tell you exactly what I've got so you can get the same thing. It makes it easier for me to help you as well.

In some cases we will use the same product one of our vendor's offers and get it from a different vendor. I prefer to use the same vendor when I can, but in the case of online strategies, I haven't found the total package and instead I've opted to get the best I can find at each service or product that they provide. We won't spend much time on shiny objects either, instead focusing on how to get your business the best return on investment.

You might be concerned about the learning curve, don't be. Open your mind and don't fear what you don't know. You'll catch on faster if you have no preconceived notions on how something is going to work.
