Tweet Your Order at Drive Thru Coffee Shops

Ever thought about letting customers Tweet orders while in line at your drive thru for faster, better service….

Local businesses are using Twitter to take orders from customers. Take the coffee shop, you’re waiting in the drive up and you want to place your order, but you have to wait till you get to the window.  This creates delays and cuts into profits.

What if instead of letting those people sit inline you placed a sign with your Twitter name? You could take orders, have them ready when the customer got to the window and make more money with a shorter line.

We’ve got to be thinking of all the different angles to improve our revenue and a coffee shop type business or even a food business needs to be doing everything they can to maximize sales in this economy.

Try it out and let me know if this works for you. You might even make suggestions for other business models that will benefit from this type of strategy.

I can think of one business that would definitely benefit from it not too far from my home. Coffee Smiths if you’re reading, try it out. I’ll use it all the time!

Have a great day and keep reading!
