Time For Landing Pages

Okay, you'd think I would be using landing pages, I haven't. I didn't take the time to learn the strategy and I think it's cost me big time.

It's not that I wasn't interested, I bought the Premise Landing Page plugin a few years ago.

I know, you're going to say, “What the heck were you thinking?”

So today, I'm finally digging in and learning the techniques. Expect to see me creating new landing pages everywhere!

One of the reasons, I've stayed away from doing the long copy landing pages is due to my dislike of having to go through the page. It's personal preference.

In selling, my personal preference doesn't matter. What matters is what the buyer wants and most people don't research the way I do.

Most people are likely to read and then trust what they read is so. That's why landing pages convert so well and why they don't appeal to me. I want independent sources instead of simply relying on what a page says, but again, I'm not like most people.

My next step is to go through the tutorial that Studio Press provided with the Premise Landing Page plugin. I'll give you an update and let you know how that works out.

I've also put a request into a couple of places for really great landing page examples. I want to see what's working and then emulate what other successful bloggers and affiliate marketers have done.

Finally, I'm going to test, test and test some more. It's time to build a product that I can sell. I'm going to do a simple product at first. I want to come in low-cost, and give instant value.

I'd appreciate you sharing with me. Are you having success using landing pages? Drop me a line, and let me know how I can make my business grow. I'll see how I can help you too.
