Teddy Needs a Bath – Shark Tank Pitch

Teddy Needs a Bath - Shark Tank

About Teddy Needs a Bath

Teddy Needs a Bath is the creation of Nicole Townsend of Huntington Beach, California. Her daughter is constantly getting things dirty, including her teddy bears. She created a washer/dryer bag for stuffed animals. The bag takes multiple smaller toys or one larger teddy.

Teddy Bears need the bag to protect eyes and seems, not only that, they can damage the laundry machines.

Cost to make the bag overseas is $2.25 and they retail for $14.95. She has been selling for six months and done $12,000. Babys R’ US wants them to come to New York with intentions of testing the products in stores. She also created custom scented dryer sheets for Teddy Needs a Bath.

Nicole tells the Sharks she has interest from Walmart, Target, Walgreens and CVS.

Kevin O’Leary is moved because he had to go get an allergy shot and he could never figure out what caused the allergies.

Nicole shares they have tested the dryer sheets with Frigedaire and Electrolux supplying the test labs.
