Squirrel Boss Shark Tank Pitch Zapps Sharks and Squirrels

Squirrel Boss - Shark Tank

Squirrel Boss Shark Tank Pitch

Squirrel Boss is the creation of Michael Desanti. The product is a bird feeder that keeps the squirrels off the feeder. You have a control that you can press that releases a shock that is harmless to the squirrel but will get them off the feeder. Micheal demonstrates on the Sharks, letting them experience the level of shock.

Micheal has around $200,000 in sales, applied for a patent and was denied, meaning his IP is not protected for this product.

The problem I see with the Squirrel Boss bird feeder is you have to see the squirrel on your feeder and then have the remote control in your hand to shock the squirrel off. What happens if you aren’t there to get rid of the rodent? According to Michael, this is the second biggest objection. The first issue is the product is too expensive.

An angel investors put in $140,000 and he has paid all but $38,000. He has also put up thousands of dollars into the Squirrel Boss. He had a patent denied because his patent attorney did not do the filing correctly.

Mike really wanted a Shark as a partner, saying he likes all of them, even Kevin.
