The Partie Poche is the creation of Connor Pastor and Jillian Jaccard, who are students at Loyola Marymount University, located in Los Angeles California. They are pitching Shark Tank in Season 4 on the Partie Poch, which replaces a handbag by carrying her essentials around her leg.
Partie Poche keeps items safe on a ladies leg
The idea is to keep items safe, while still allowing her to carry things like ID and money with her. Shark Tank investors don't bite on the purse replacement even though they have sold two hundred units through their website. The retail price is $17 to $39. The Partie Poche costs $4 to make each unit.
Partie Poche comes in with a provisional patent, but Connor tells the Sharks that it is tough to value a company that is pre-revenue. They have met with Nordstrom who does not want to put them with a buyer until they have a final product.
Jillian tells Kevin to bring it on, right now. Daymond John asks what your company is worth today? She is valuing the company at $500,000. They are evaluating the company on future sales projections.
They have $50,000 cash on hand for 40% equity, and now they are asking for a $500,000 evaluation. Kevin asks them if they are crazy?
