John Chow Kirk Taylor New York City

John Chow & Kirk Taylor in NYCJohn Chow and I hooked up in New York City during the Affiliate Summit East last year. The picture is outside the Foxwood Theater where Spider-man, Into The Dark was in rehearsal. John was able to get tickets to the show and invited me to go. We sat in the third row, which I thought would be too close, but it ended up being an incredible place to watch the performance.  The stage actually came out over our heads and the theatrics were awesome.

During the show, John and I walked down to the Apple Store. I had never been there before, it was under construction and wasn’t visible from outside. they had it completely covered so you couldn’t see what they were doing.  We came inside and went down a unique glass staircase, steps and all that led to the Apple show floor. John Chow told me that the store stayed open 24 hours a day and never closes. With so many people, you would have to come in the middle of the night to avoid the crowds.

I stayed in an older hotel, I can’t remember the name right off, but it was only a block away from Central Park, where I went the day after the Affiliate Summit East. I was able to set in the park, connect to 4G through my Sprint HTC Evo Phone and work on my laptop as I enjoyed the breeze. The weather was absolutely perfect when the weather at home was nasty.

John Chow and Kirk Taylor go to Carnegie Deli

John Chow and I went to Carnegie Deli for Dinner one night, and then to another Steak house the next. I will have to come back and edit this when I remember the place, but I would not likely go there again. They did have a defibrillator setting up at the hostess stand, John took a picture, as he thought that was a sign of what was to come.

Back to Carnegie Deli, we had the traditional monster Sandwiches, I had the Pastrami which turned was “ALL” Pastrami and a couple of deli slices of  white bread. They aren’t kidding when they say it’s nearly impossible to eat the Sandwich. You have to go and check it out.
