Fireavert Shark Tank Pitch and follow up ends with Lori Greiner Deal

Fireavert - Shark Tank

FireAvert Shark Tank Pitch

FireAvert is a solution to prevent kitchen fires. Peter Thorpe created a simple device that cuts power to your stove when your smoke alarm goes off. The device plugs in to the wall, and the stove plugs into FireAdvert.

FireAvert identifies smoke before fire. They are used for prevention and only works for electric stoves. They do not have a gas version. The product retails for $195, which surprises the Sharks at the cost. Peter manufactures it for $45.

Peter claims they will make $2 million with a 37% net profit. They are selling direct to multi-family and senior housing units who have frequent fires. He owns just 37% of the company. The largest shareholder owns 60% who is a friend of his.
