Bedbugs congregate everywhere including luggage, the bed, cribs, in clothes, curtains and more. Rodents are wherever people are because they feed on you. They leave a mosquito-like mark, with tracks on your skin. They eat blood and is deposited as excrement after they have digested it. You could have dried blood on your pillows or linens as a sign that you have a bedbug infestation. BuggyBeds will help you to know for sure if you have infestation issues in your home or on your possessions.

Bedbugs are in clean and dirty places

Don’t be fooled into thinking bedbugs are only found in unclean places. They are at school, in hotels, in airports and luggage month other places and will get into your home undetected.

BuggyBeds launched six months before their Shark Tank appearance. They come in with $150,000 in sales and already landed a deal with Burlington Coat Factory and Home Depot. Maria and Veronica are bringing manufacturing in house because it is very easy and cost effective to do in house. The retail price is $6.99 to $8.99 with cost at $1.35. They also sell multi-packs, as well as additional product lines.

They did a test market in twenty-nine stores with BuggyBeds selling out in ten days. A local Walmart manager just looked at it and offered an end cap in front of the registers.

Shark Tank Investors Bite on BuggyBeds

All Shark Tank investors want in on this deal, and all of them are talking with Mark staying quiet. Mark said he is going to remain silent and let the other Sharks negotiate so he can see what happens.

Kevin O’Leary throws out the first offer giving $250,000 in for 25% equity. He also invites his fellow Sharks on the deal. Daymond John commits to joining Kevin O’Leary’s offer. Kevin wants to work on the Walmart deal, and Daymond John said he would take it to 7-11.

Barbara Corcoran makes an offer that they have to accept now; she is going to give $150,000 for 15%. She wants them to do it with her, not the “boys.” They don’t respond to Barbara Corcoran, so she takes the offer off the table.

Mark Cuban offers to do the deal with all the other Sharks, so he offers to go in with everyone at $250,000 for 25% equity. Veronica wants Mark Cuban to sweeten the deal by teaching Veronica the Cha Cha Cha; they have a deal.

After Shark Tank, BuggyBeds generated $1.2 million in sales in 2016 and is going strong. BuggyBeds sells in over twenty countries worldwide and is expanding locations. The bedbug market continues to grow as one site claims that the CDC and Orkin report that reports of infestations are doubling each year.
