Good Product but not new per description
My installer, Fibercom, does not believe this is a new product per description by the seller. However it appears to work very well so far. My previous unit was refurbished and lasted two years.

    5.0 out of 5 stars Spent a $90 - Saved a $100!!!
Reviewed in the United States on February 6, 2016
This unit solved my LinkSys WRT54G drop out problems. I had a little trouble at first with the Genie App - the instructions do not spell out the password protocol for accessing the App's suite of features: Selecting the 'Router Settings' tab pops up a login dialog requiring a password which is actually the default word 'password' not the WiFi SSID Connect password which you might have set using the browser interface BEFORE trying the App - like I did. Duh!! Ended up un-installing the whole thing and starting over using the browser interface only, changed the SSID's and the connection password's - one each for the 2.4GHz channel and one for the 5GHz channel, hooked up and got all devices online and working - so the house network runs at 2.4GHz and the Smart TV's run on the 5GHz channel. Its easier and more efficient to share bandwidth between frequencies, than a frequency between multiple devices - I have plenty of bandwidth and the TV makes better use of the wide open 5GHz broadcast channel (especially since it's the only 5GHz device in the house right now). Then I downloaded the Genie App and figured that out Works pretty well - especially the 'Network Map' monitor - nice touch! And you can custom name all the connectable devices, PC's Laptops, phones, WiFi capable BD and DVD players, and TV's. AND the add-on 'Netgear USB Controller' App that lets you port your old USB printer to the Router and turn it into a virtual WiFi printer server saved me a hundred bucks for a printer upgrade.
